I have a lot more critiques, if you want to read a much better (and more scathing) critique, I highly recommend Dr. Emily Wilson’s “An Uncomplicated Man” in the London Review of Books. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Also, I do realize the Sirens were supposedly naked, but they were at such a distance that no one could be offended. However, the violence was certainly up close, which is part of my larger critique. Still, it’s a good watch. Many thanks to my wife for putting up with my curmudgeonliness, second only to Polyphemus. #progressiveclergy #pastorpauldrees #Lutheran #ELCA
