Muayene bulgularına göre;
? HPV testi ve gerektiğinde cinsel yolla bulaşan enfeksiyon testleri istenebilir.
? Mantar enfeksiyonu düşünülen bazı hastalarda, etken mikroorganizmayı belirlemek ve tedaviye direnç gelişip gelişmediğini değerlendirmek için vajinal kültür ve antibiyogram yapılabilir.
Bu değerlendirmeler sonucunda enfeksiyon veya başka bir neden saptanmaz ancak akıntı şikâyeti devam ederse, uygun hastalarda vajinal lazer tedavisi de tedavi seçenekleri arasında yer alabilir.
? Kalıcı çözüm için önemli olan, şikâyeti baskılamak değil; nedenini doğru tespit ederek kişiye özel bir tedavi planı oluşturmaktır.

? A vaginal culture and antimicrobial susceptibility testing if a yeast infection is suspected, particularly to identify the specific organism and determine whether it has developed resistance to treatment.
If all test results are negative but the discharge persists, vaginal laser therapy may be considered as a treatment option for carefully selected patients.
