She found a dragon egg frozen in the ice — and raised it alone. ASHBORN is a full-length fantasy movie in English (65 min, 4K): a lonely healer, a secret dragon, and the village that cast her out.
In the hardest winter her mountain village has ever known, a healer named Oriel shelters from a blizzard inside a hidden ice cave — and finds a warm egg glowing between the bones of an ancient dragon.
She carries it home and keeps it by her hearth for forty nights. When it hatches in her hands, she names the tiny silver dragon Wick, "my little light," and teaches him one word above all others: gently.
But a dragon does not stay small. As the winter grows hungrier and the blue glow behind her shutters becomes impossible to hide, the village turns against her and sends her out into the storm. Alone on the glacier, she discovers that the creature she raised with kindness has not forgotten a single thing she taught him.
Then the great ice wall above the village begins to crack.
A story about mercy, courage, and the idea that what you raise with love comes back as love.
